How to share an idea the community can build on

Good feedback explains the experience you want to improve, not only the feature you want added.
Before posting, search for an existing discussion and add new evidence there when appropriate.Suggestion template
Short summary: What problem or opportunity does this address? Who would benefit? How might it work? What tradeoffs or abuse cases should be considered? Is there a smaller version worth trying first?Be specific and open to alternatives. Other members may test assumptions, identify technical or
balance concerns, or combine related ideas. Disagreement with a proposal is not disagreement with
the person who posted it.Suggestions are not promises. Staff may defer or decline an idea because of stability, fairness,
moderation cost, licensing, performance, maintenance, or the wider roadmap. When a decision is
available, the topic should record the outcome so future discussions have useful context. -
